Personnel Commission Classified employees fall under the jurisdiction of the Personnel Commission, which is a volunteer, three-member body that looks after the public's interest in the employment, promotion, and management of classified employees on the basis of fairness and merit. One commissioner is appointed upon the recommendation of classifed employees, one by the Board of Trustees, and the third is selected by the other two. The Commission usually meets at 11:00 a.m. the second Thursday of each month in the Board Room at 5832 Bolsa Avenue, Huntington Beach.
